چکیده

This book presents a method for hydrodynamic modelling of tidal power plants. In the face climate change, plants will play an important role in transition to renewable energy and decarbonisation society. Tidal is not dependent on weather conditions fully predictable, allowing accurate forecasts several years into future. Its main drawback that it limited areas with high ranges, such as Atlantic coasts UK, France Canada, well other seacoasts around world. The models design hydropower primarily understand impact environment optimise operation plant itself. divided thematically three sections. first section provides comprehensive overview background reviews available literature. second contains detailed description theoretical numerical methodology using open source software Delft3D. last consists two case studies which was tested. They deal impacts planned namely barrage Severn Estuary artificial lagoon Swansea Bay.
